Florida won the toss and elected to bowl first on a hot saturday afternoon that proved to be a bad move.
Philly openers capitalized on some loose bowling early on and raced away to a quick start. Narine was the chief slayer with a swashbuckling 40 runs. Contributions down the entire batting lineup saw Philly end on 150/5 off their 20 overs.
Beamers got off to a tough start as they lost opener Ramesh in the first over and steadily chipped away at the total with contributions from Qureshi 20, Khurshid 37 and Patel 38 but fell agonizingly 4 runs short.
MOTM went to Foo with his batting and bowling.
